The organizing committee has officially confirmed that the highly anticipated Jolly Bash Basketball Tournament 2026 will be held on May 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. This year's edition promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Leading the charge is Vaheesan as Chairman of the Organizing Committee, supported by committee members Nishanthan, Jeevathuwarakan, Sanjayan, Thanushankaran, and Sarangan - a strong lineup committed to delivering a world-class tournament experience.

Team owners were promptly notified and asked to confirm any ownership changes ahead of the planning process, signaling the committee's intent to move swiftly on preparations.

Following the first official committee meeting on March 27th, several key decisions were made to shape this year's tournament:

• Guest Player Rule: Teams will now be permitted to include one outside guest player in their roster, opening the door for fresh talent and exciting new matchups.

• School Player Mandate: A rule has been established requiring every team to have at least one school-level player in their starting five at all times - reinforcing Jolly Bash's commitment to nurturing young talent and giving the next generation a platform to shine.
