About Jolly Ballers
A founding franchise of the Jolly Bash Basketball Tournament, rooted in the proud tradition of Jaffna Hindu College and Jolly Stars Sports Club.
Jolly Ballers was born in 2024 as one of the four founding teams of Jolly Bash, an annual basketball tournament organized by Jolly Stars Sports Club. What started as a friendly competition among Jaffna Hindu College alumni has grown into a celebrated sporting event attracting hundreds of spectators and a global diaspora audience through live streaming.
The Jolly Ballers represent passion, discipline, and team spirit. Every season, players are selected through a competitive auction, making each roster unique and every match unpredictable. We are not just a team; we are a family committed to excellence and making every moment on the court count.

Our Journey
The Beginning
Jolly Bash Season 1 launched as an exclusive tournament for Jaffna Hindu College old boys. Jolly Ballers was one of the four founding teams.
Growing Stronger
Season 2 brought more competition, larger audiences, and multi-camera live streaming. The Jolly Ballers brand grew with dedicated social media presence.
Opening Doors
Season 3 opens to the wider Jaffna basketball community. Each team now includes one guest player from an external club, expanding reach and competition.
